We are currently seeking donations for camp scholarships, trips and activities!  Your donation will immediately make a difference in a childs life.

The Boys & Girls Club of Chico’s Camp Journey will run 11 weeks, beginning May 29^th, 2012. Each week will feature unique programming based on a weekly and summer long theme. This summer, our campers will be exploring the world around them as members of a tribe as they have crashed their ship in uncharted waters on their voyage home from the long school year.

 Camp Journey is a full day summer camp available to youth ages 6 (and in the first grade) to 12 years old. Campers will experience fun, exciting, and educational activities, as well as, field trips focusing on our five core program areas:

·         Character & Leadership Development

·         Education & Career Development

·         Health & Life Skills

·         The Arts

·         Sports, Fitness & Recreation

Camp Fees Per Week*.............$100.00
Extended Care Per Week*........$15.00
Camp T-Shirt ............................$15.00   (one time only fee)  Required
Annual BGC Membership..........$10.00  (one time only fee)  Required

Camp Journey accepts payment of cash, major credit card / debit card or money order.  We DO NOT accept personal checks.

Flexible Payment Plan:  Families may choose to follow a custom payment plan.  Payments can be made weekly or monthly beginning in April.

Funding Partner Agencies:  Camp Journey accepts funding from ALL childcare funding agencies, such as Valley Oak Children's Services  and the Far Northern Regional Center, as well as Butte County CalWorks program

Sliding Scale and Full Scholarhsips:  Families may qualify for a reduction in weekly camp fees, according to a sliding scale based on household income and number of minor dependents.  See the director for details

REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN- OPEN REGISTRATION HOURS:
Boys & Girls Club Campus, Ostrander Clubhouse, 601 Wall Street, Chico
Wednesdays:  5:30pm - 7:00pm
Thursdays:     10:00am - 12:30pm

ALSO...please note that every Wednesday campers go swimming at the Shapiro Pool and we will spend our Friday afternoons at the One Mile Recreation Area!
